
My goodness this last week just flew by, didn't it? I spent the weekend and the last couple days with my good friend Kirsten and her family. That was a lot of fun. And involved a lot of eating out and travel-eating (which involves a category of terrible eating decisions all on its own). And very little exercise. I did go for a walk Monday, but my knees are still hurting. Crap. The good news is my weight is only up 0.4 which is pretty much maintaining, as we all go up and down a little. And my clothes are still fitting better. So that's good. Well, hopefully it's good. I keep having to adjust my wardrobe options, because things do not fit like they used to. Anyway, last week's mini-challenge was 3 servings of dairy a day. I have no idea how I did. I am usually very good at this, so it's not really an issue for me, but traveling screws everything up. This week's mini-challenge is no ice cream. Um, that does not sound like very much fun. And boot camp is over. I didn't get the last week done due to sore knees, and my workouts are going to be non-existant this week due to a hectic schedule and the fact that I STILL need to rest my knees. Oh, well. The challenge of no ice cream in the summer, especially when I consider it dairy, is just plain cruel.

only having a .4 gain after vacation is a total win in my book! Hope your knees feel better soon.

ReplyDeleteWith all that traveling I would say you did great! Rest your knees and take it easy. Exercise will happen again when the knees agree!
