Okay, it's time for the Spring Reading Thing 2009 Wrap-Up. I must say that I've decided I really stink at FINISHING a book! I'm great at starting books, but finishing is another story all together. I had 7 books picked out to read. I really didn't think that would be so hard. I read 3 of them. To be fair, I started 3 of them but still haven't finished. And the 7th book was for book club, but I ended up being out of town for that one, so I didn't read it. Oh well! It was a valiant effort!
Oh, for shame! Do tell - which books did you at least start? Please tell me that Pride & Prejudice was one of them! Yeah, totally biased with that one. Now what are you doing sitting at the computer? Go read a book, for goodness sake!
ReplyDeleteYES, I actually finished Pride and Prejudice. I've read it before - one of my very, very favorite books. I'm still working on Marley & Me, though I love it. And I'm halfway through Animal, Vegetable, Mineral as well as almost done with Water for Elephants. I read it for book club, but didn't get it finished in time. I cheated and skimmed to the end (bad I know), and now I have no motivation to finish it. The one I didn't read was I Remember.

ReplyDeleteI have never read Pride and Prejudice - not sure how that happened! Loved Water for Elephants although when my book group picked it, I wasn't sure I would like a book about circus life.
